The Janus Syndrome

in events

janusHey there readers! Sorry for the delay in posting but I moved my home and business within the past month so forgive me. But that’s the past. What about the present?

Even a cursory look around the events business reveals that members of the profession are re-focusing their energies on finding innovative ways of doing business in the face of this still contracting economy, as opposed to digitally screaming (complaining out loud via digital media) about the “AIG Effect” and signing petitions to save the face to face meetings business as we know it.

As a committed front facing person (think Roman God Janus to appreciate the metaphor), I believe that the future belongs to the flexible and the nimble. Those who get that the meeting business will thrive in the years to come on an ad hoc diet of solid content and bleeding edge technology, are already in hot pursuit. To that end I am writing and shooting and thinking creatively about how I can best serve my present and future clients. You should too.

Jack be nimble, Jack be quick… I suspect there will be some left over for you laggards :-)
